Your Network Drives

When you start up your workstation, you will be asked to "Press Ctrl-Alt-Del" to logon. This will then take you to your Novell Login screen. Novell Login

Enter your username and password. If you do not know your username or password, please call (785) 864-4258. If you do not have an account on the server, you can request one at our Novell Account Request Form.

To get to your data, open the My Computer icon on your desktop. My Computer Icon

Your Drive Letters
Drive Description Drive Description
U: Drive Personal Network Drive.
The U: drive is for storing your personal files. Only you have access to this drive.
G: Drive or Departmental Drive Group or Departmental Drive.
The G: drive is shared by everyone in a department such as Admissions or the Registrar.
I: Drive for accessing FTP jobs Access to FTP jobs.
Depending upon your access rights, you may or may not have this drive.
Q: Drive for Databases Database sharing.
Depending upon your access rights, you may or may not have this drive.
S: Drive for Shared Projects Shared folder for unique groups across departments .
Depending upon your access rights, you may or may not have this drive.
T: Drive for PeopleSoft Financials PeopleSoft Financials.
Depending upon your access rights, you may or may not have this drive.
J: Drive or ARTS Network Drive ARTS Network Drive.
Depending upon your access rights, you may or may not have this drive.

Please save all of your data on a Network Drive. This ensures that your data will be backed up on the server every evening.

Do not save data to the "C Drive," your local hard drive. This data WILL NOT BE BACKED UP BY THE SERVER and creates a security risk.
